Join us for the inaugural University Teaching Awards celebration Nov. 7


Colleagues,

Excellence in teaching is central to KU’s mission and integral to the KU experience.

With this in mind, I invite you to join Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Barbara Bichelmeyer, Executive Vice Chancellor Robert Simari and me to celebrate excellence in the classroom at the inaugural University Teaching Awards at 7 p.m. on Nov. 7 in Woodruff Auditorium in Lawrence.

This event will begin a new annual tradition of convening all winners of KU's annual teaching awards – from the Lawrence and KU Medical Center campuses – to be recognized and celebrated.

All members of the KU community are invited to attend this celebration of KU's most outstanding teachers. We ask that you RSVP in advance to assist in our planning.
