University Research Awards

A celebration of outstanding KU researchers who are changing the world

As one of the nation’s leading public research universities, KU has a special role in fostering a culture of research that addresses society's grand challenges.

As part of this effort, Chancellor Girod hosted the University Research Awards on April 5, 2022, from 7-9 p.m. at the Lied Center to celebrate many of our most research-productive faculty. This event brought together the winners of our university’s top research awards and commemorated them on one night.
