Postponing tomorrow’s scheduled “One Day. One KU.” day of giving

We are all shocked and saddened by the acts of violence that occurred in Kansas City today. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and everyone who has been impacted. We are grateful for our community’s first responders and care providers, including our colleagues at The University of Kansas Health System.

In light of today’s events, we must do what Jayhawks do best — focus on those in need. As a result, we will postpone tomorrow’s scheduled “One Day. One KU.” day of giving. We know a lot of work has gone into this annual event, and we are grateful to all of you for your contributions. We will reschedule the event for a later date and share details with you soon.

In the meantime, please do what you can to support members of our community in the days ahead. And thank you for all you do for the University of Kansas.
