Michelle Benne

Michelle Benne serves as the Executive Assistant in the Office of the Chancellor. She provides executive support for the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives/Chief of Staff as well as the Government Relations team. Michelle is new to the state of Kansas and the University of Kansas as of 2024. She has enjoyed working at the university level, including UMass Amherst and Harvard University, for many years. Most recently, she has spent the past few years working with middle and high school students as a missionary. Michelle is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
