Joe Pond

Joe Pond currently serves as the University of Kansas’ interim chief operating officer and senior vice chancellor.

Joe previously served as chief of staff to the chief operating officer, providing support to all operations and information technology units and directly overseeing parking, transportation, emergency management and police on the Lawrence and KU Medical Center campuses. He also co-manages the medical center’s Workday Service Center.
