KU community invited to State of the University Address on October 16
Colleagues,
We are off to another busy semester at the University of Kansas, with plenty of good news related to our mission of education, service and research.
With this in mind, I invite you to join me for my annual State of the University Address at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, at the Jayhawk Welcome Center. We will use this time together to discuss recent achievements and initiatives, as well as opportunities and strategies for the year ahead.
At the conclusion of the address, we will head down the hallway to The Pub for one of our regularly scheduled “Thank Goodness It’s Thursday” get-togethers, which will include snacks and a chance to catch up with colleagues.
All faculty, staff and students from our Lawrence and KU Medical Center campuses are invited to attend. For those unable to join in person, the event will be livestreamed at chancellor.ku.edu.
RSVPs are not required but are appreciated for planning purposes. You can RSVP here.
Thank you for all you do on behalf of our university. It’s because of the talent, ingenuity and determination of Jayhawks like you that KU continues to strengthen Kansas and better the world.
I look forward to seeing you October 16.
Respectfully,
Doug
