University of Kansas issues China travel restriction
Colleagues,
Earlier today, the U.S. Department of State issued a Level 4: Do Not Travel warning to China due to concerns about coronavirus. This is coupled with an earlier Warning Level 3: Avoid Non-Essential Travel from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Given these actions, the University of Kansas has issued a travel restriction to China for all university faculty, staff, and students, effective immediately. No institution-related travel to China will be authorized or approved by the university.
We are also deferring any upcoming international travel to the university from China.
This step is similar to those taken by other businesses and universities across the U.S. For additional information, you may contact:

Respectfully,
